Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Aayush Gelal, sole proprietor trading as KFX Studio ("we", "us"), operator of kfxapp.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What KFX Studio does

You describe your business in a paragraph. KFX Studio uses that description to write slide copy, choose a background for each slide, and render a set of image slides you can post to TikTok or elsewhere.

The output is generated by automated systems, including large language models. It is a starting point, not finished marketing copy. You are responsible for reviewing every slide before you publish it. See section 5.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• One person or business per account. Do not share credentials.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

3. Plans, billing and payment

Payments are processed by Freemius, which acts as the merchant of record for every purchase. Freemius handles the transaction, taxes and invoicing, and appears on your card or bank statement. Your purchase is also subject to Freemius's buyer terms.

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. Prices are shown at /pricing and may change with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.

4. Usage limits

Each plan includes a number of slideshows per month. Generation is rate limited to keep the service available for everyone. We may suspend or limit accounts that place an unreasonable load on the service, attempt to bypass limits, or use automated tools to access it.

5. Content, and who owns what

What you provide

You keep every right you already hold in the images, logos and text you upload, and in the slideshows you export. You grant us only the limited licence the service needs in order to function — to store that material, process it, and generate and keep slides from it.

Having the rights to what you upload is your responsibility, as is how you use an exported slideshow once it leaves here. Do not upload logos, trademarks or photographs you are not permitted to use.

The built-in library

Backgrounds, icons and templates supplied with the service are licensed to you for use inside slideshows you build with KFX Studio. They are not licensed for resale or redistribution as standalone assets, or for any use separate from a slideshow you created here.

What the service produces

Subject to your account being in good standing, you may use the slides we generate for you commercially, including on TikTok and other social platforms.

One limit on that: automated output is not guaranteed to be unique. Similar inputs can produce similar text, so we cannot promise your slides are original — and we do not claim ownership of them.

What you must not generate

• Anything unlawful, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights
• Content impersonating a real person, business or brand you do not represent
• Content making false or unsubstantiated claims about a product
• Harassing, hateful or sexually explicit content
• Anything that breaches the rules of the platform you post it to

6. Accuracy and review

Generated copy may contain factual errors, and selected images may not suit your brand. We do not review output before it reaches you. Check every slide before publishing — particularly any claim about pricing, results or availability.

7. Availability

We aim to keep KFX Studio running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, or because a third-party provider we depend on is down. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue a paid feature materially, we will give notice and a pro-rata refund for the unused period.

8. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, presents a security or legal risk, or has a failed payment that stays unresolved. Where we terminate without cause, we refund the unused portion of your current period.

After deletion, your workspaces and generated slides are removed. See the Privacy Policy for retention detail.

9. Liability

KFX Studio is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, or loss arising from content you chose to publish.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep the statutory rights your local law gives you.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use KFX Studio after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
